Blake Levin Joins IAG In Media Finance Role (EXCLUSIVE)

Independent Artist Group Strengthens Media Finance Arm with Blake Levin Appointment
Independent Artist Group (IAG) announced that Blake Levin will assume the newly created position of Head of Media Finance and Sales. The move signals IAG’s intention to broaden its reach in content financing, packaging, sales and global distribution.
Leadership Role and Responsibilities
Levin’s mandate at IAG involves steering the media finance and content sales division. He will collaborate directly with filmmakers, producers, production companies, financiers and rights owners to design financing structures, lock in distribution deals and extract maximum value from projects across both U.S. and overseas markets. The Los Angeles office will serve as his base, and he will report to IAG President Kyle Loftus.
Career Path and Industry Experience
Levin’s professional background spans representation, development, production, financing and international sales. He launched his career at talent agency WME before moving to Endeavor Content, which now operates under the name Fifth Season. At Endeavor, he contributed to the development, packaging and overseas sales of a range of film and television titles. Most recently, Levin founded Sandhill Road Entertainment, a venture through which he has counseled producers, financiers and creators on packaging, financing and distribution strategies while also developing and producing film, television and documentary projects.
Strategic Fit within IAG
The hiring aligns with IAG’s broader strategy to attract seasoned, entrepreneurial executives who can propel the company’s growth. In a joint statement, IAG CEO Jim Osborne and President Kyle Loftus said, “Blake represents the kind of experienced, entrepreneurial executive we are continuing to attract to IAG,” adding, “His agency background, combined with the platform he built through Sandhill Road Entertainment, gives him a sophisticated understanding of every stage of the content lifecycle—from development and packaging through financing, sales and distribution — and he will be an enormous asset to our clients and the continued growth of IAG.”
Context of Recent Talent Moves
Levin’s arrival follows a series of talent acquisitions by IAG, including the signing of “My Life With The Walter Boys” star Nikki Rodriguez and the addition of comedian Cedric The Entertainer to the agency’s roster. These moves underscore IAG’s aggressive push to expand its representation and sales capabilities across the entertainment sector.
Outlook for Content Financing
With Levin at the helm of media finance, IAG aims to deepen its involvement in structuring deals that span development through to global distribution. His experience in both agency representation and independent production positions him to bridge gaps between creators and financiers, potentially accelerating the pace at which projects secure funding and reach audiences worldwide. The company’s Los Angeles headquarters will serve as the operational hub for these expanded activities, reinforcing IAG’s presence in the heart of the U.S. entertainment industry.
