Oklo: The AI Power Trade Is Getting More Tangible

Oklo now has an organization that has designed, procured, constructed, authorized, commissioned, and operated a nuclear facility. Read more on OKLO stock here.

Oklo’s Q2 2026 milestones sharpen bullish outlook, but dilution tempers price target

The analyst covering Oklo (NYSE:OKLO) keeps a Buy recommendation on the stock while lowering the price objective from $99 to $88, citing the impact of recent equity raises. The second quarter of 2026 delivered concrete operational advances that reinforce the original investment thesis, yet the dilution effect required an adjustment to the valuation target.

Execution Progress

During the quarter, Oklo’s Groves project reached its first criticality, marking a key step toward commercial operation. At the same time, the Aurora facility at Idaho National Laboratory moved forward on its development schedule, and the Aurora site in Ohio secured several pivotal agreements that are expected to support future production. These achievements collectively boost confidence in the company’s ability to deliver capacity across its Ohio, INL, fuel and isotope initiatives.

Financial Position

Oklo now reports a cash balance of roughly $3 billion, a figure that underpins the firm’s capacity to fund ongoing construction and development activities. The analyst’s normalized EBITDA projection has been nudged upward to $443 million, reflecting the stronger outlook for the aforementioned projects. Even after accounting for the dilution from the equity issuances, the analyst estimates that the stock could still offer about 120 percent upside from its current trading level.

Risk Factors

Significant uncertainties remain on the path to profitability. Construction schedules could encounter delays, and regulatory approvals may take longer than anticipated, potentially postponing revenue generation. The availability of nuclear fuel and the timing of commercial cash flows also present notable challenges. Additionally, the dilution effect from recent capital raises adds pressure on per‑share metrics, making the upside scenario dependent on successful execution of the company’s growth plan.

The author of the analysis states that there is no existing position in Oklo’s equity, options, or related derivatives, though a beneficial long position might be initiated through a stock purchase or call option acquisition within the next 72 hours.
