Park National Stock: Still Relatively Strong, And Still Fully Valued

Park National Corporation, the Ohio-based parent of The Park National Bank, announced its third-quarter financial results for 2026 following the closing bell today. The company reported a net income of $56.9 million, a 20.7% rise compared to the same quarter in 2025. These results included a $5.5 million after-tax cost linked to the firm's merger with First Citizens Bancshares. While the diluted earnings per share of $3.13 represented a $0.21 improvement over the previous year, the figure fell $0.04 short of analyst estimates. Consequently, shares of PRK experienced a minor decline in after-hours trading.
