TSMC employees received a significant financial boost this Friday as the company released its second-quarter bonus figures. The world leading contract chipmaker reported that its performance-based payouts for the period between April and June reached a total of NT$36 billion, which converts to approximately US$1.14 billion. This figure represents a surge of more than 50 percent compared to the same timeframe last year, reflecting the robust financial health of the semiconductor giant.
